"The Voice Sri Lanka" is an adaptation from the popular international reality singing competition called "The Voice" and started airing in Sri Lanka on Sirasa TV, on 21st November 2020. Popular Sri Lankan musician Kasun Kalhara, best selling pop duo Bathiya and Santhush (BNS), beloved songstresses Sashika Nisansala and Umaria Sinhawansa, were chosen as coaches at the inception of Voice Sri Lanka.

Emerging during a time where live concerts are a near impossibility with the pandemic situation, The Voice Sri Lanka managed to garner the attention of the Sri Lankan music atmosphere, due to the multi talented contestants that appeared on the show. From Suranga Weerasinghe who became the first Voice Sri Lankan contestant to appear in the "Voice Global", to Julius Mitchell, popular beat-boxer, whose blind audition video appeared on YouTube trending lists of both Australia and USA, "The Voice Sri Lanka" became the platform for the Sri Lankan music talents to be recognised on an international level.

56 contestants per coach have been selected through the Blind auditions that were broadcasted for nearly three months, and the Battle round stage of the competition has started airing on the 20th March 2021.

Await our take on the Battles as these 224 talents clash their musical wits on the The Voice Sri Lanka stage for the glory of the nation's Voice title.
